While this news has been rumoured for a while, it now looks like Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice will see the addition of Aquaman and word is he’s going to be a bit pissed! According to a source over at Hitfix, not only has it been confirmed that the underwater hero will indeed be in the upcoming feature, but the character will also be played by Jason Mamoa.
According to sources, Aquaman isn’t too impressed with the effects the World Engine in Man of Steel had on the oceans and has a bit of beef with Superman for attracting it to Earth in the first place. I assume I’m not the only one who thinks this film is turning out to be a big up yours to the Man of Steel. First it seems Batman isn’t happy with him (considering it’s Batman versing him in the title), and now Aquaman isn’t happy, so I bet any money we’re also going to have a Lex Luthor not impressed with him either.

As more details regarding the film comes to light, there’s no denying this seems more of a launching platform for a Justice League movie and less a Man of Steel sequel. Lets just hope it’s not overkill throwing in so many DC Universe characters into one film.
Sounds like Zack Snyder is definitely going to have his hands full with this one!
